Our first ever Steam Gala takes place this year.
ALL TRAINS WILL BE STEAM-HAULED ON ALL THREE DAYS
Timetable
A special timetable will operate on these days, with six return journeys between Leeming Bar and Redmire, and an additional late train on Saturday evening which includes a barbecue at Redmire (see below).
Fares
Rover fares will be £18 for one day. Prices for two-day and three-day tickets will be available shortly.
Other fares will be increased by 10% this weekend.
Barbecue
There will be a late steam-hauled train from Leeming Bar to Redmire at 19.00 (see special timetable for full timings), There will be a quality barbecue at Redmire, including a sweet and beer/wine or a soft drink.
Prices for the train and barbecue - from Leeming Bar/Bedale/Finghall - £25 (children under 12 - £20); from Leyburn - £20 (children under 12 - £12)

Locomotives
We will have King Arthur class 30777 “Sir Lamiel” and GW 5643 on duty over the weekend.
